Finding a Plumber Who Treats Your Home With Respect

March 24, 2017 by Boris Mechanical

“Everybody’s got something they’re obsessive about,” Tina said. “And for me, that’s my home. I love our home. It’s in the perfect spot in Chelsea, the building’s great, and my husband Andy and I have put a lot of work into making it ours. We had an issue with the bathroom toilet – it was starting to leak and needed to be replaced – and so obviously we needed to call the plumber.”

When you’re searching for the best plumber in NYC, there are a few criteria to keep in mind. Experience and expertise matter: you want to work with a licensed plumber who’s insured and has top-notch repair skills. It’s also important to choose a plumber who is easy to work with. “For me, it was really important that our home be treated with respect,” Tina explained. “So when I called different plumbers, I asked them if they thought this job would be really messy. I wanted to know if they were going to clean up after themselves.”

The Boris Mechanical team understands the responsibility that comes with being in a customer’s home. We’re there to do our job, whether that’s appliance installation, plumbing repairs, gas line service or sprinkler maintenance. Sometimes some mess is generated in the course of completing our jobs. That’s why it’s part of our process to clean up after ourselves. We will always treat your home with respect.

Some plumbing problems, such as frozen burst pipes or leaking toilets that have gone unrepaired for quite some time, can cause damage to your home’s structure. An example of this is when wall board or flooring needs to be replaced due to water damage. It’s important to understand that Boris Mechanical does not do this type of repair work: we focus on striving to be the best plumber in NYC. We will absolutely coordinate and work with other contractors and building professionals you’ve chosen to ensure your home can get back to normal as quickly as possible!
