“All day long, I work in a very chaotic, noisy environment,” Bob said. “And this is New York City – obviously it is never quiet here. But I value the little bit of silence I can get, when I’m at home.” Bob’s peaceful quiet oasis was disturbed when something went wrong with his toilet.
“It never made noise before, but all of a sudden, I can hear my toilet running in the middle of the night,” he said. “And I don’t know what that means. Is it going to overflow? Is there a leak in my toilet? Is my water bill going to be outrageous? I hear that noise at 2 am and then I’m up all night trying to figure out what I should do.” Bob shrugged his shoulders. “After about 2 nights of that, I said forget about it, I’m calling my NYC plumber. Let him figure it out!”
