“We got the refrigerator as our Christmas gift to each other,” Amanda said. “It was time. We needed one, there was a great holiday sale, and so we said, “Sure!”
“Free installation was part of the deal,” Diego said. “But you know how they say you get what you pay for? Definitely true in this case. From day one, we’ve had nothing but problems with this fridge.”
“My refrigerator leaks,” Amanda said. “All of the time, from underneath. I’ve had the installation guys here twice, they peeked underneath with a flashlight like this and said, “Condensation, nothing we can do.” Well, I’m not willing to live with puddles in the kitchen!”
“It was time to call a real NYC plumber. I wanted somebody who could get the job done right. I was tired of dealing with the runaround,” Diego explained.
It turns out that the water supply lines leading to the new refrigerator weren’t sealed properly. There was a small but steady pinpoint size stream of water coming out of a tiny leak, which, over time, lead to Amanda’s puddles.
“The difference was clear right from the start,” Diego said. “Right off, they were invested in fixing the problem. The other guys stood around making excuses. The NYC plumber got right in there, actually hands on, investigating what was going wrong and giving my wife and I real information about what was going on and what was needed to fix it.”
